A Shibayama ivory and silver plate. Late 19th century

A Shibayama ivory and silver plate, at the centre a ten-cornered ivory panel with two roosters and flowers of carved mother-of-pearl, surrounded at the rim within petal-shaped reserves with ivory panels with flower sprays in Shibayama inlay and scrolls of silver filigree. Signed at the base Hideyuki saku. A few tiny losses. Late 19th century.
