A small Bizen jar for used water (kensui) of irregular shape, with two hand-shaped handles to the shoulder and a mark to the base, the same mark to the side of one of the handles, the body partly covered with a greyish glaze. Momoyama period, 16th century. Lacquered wood box, cotton cloth.
