A North or Central Indian pink sandstone architectural fragment of Agni, the god of fire, standing with his ram on a plinth, framed by two columns, the right hand is raised, the left hand holds a small vial, the body is adorned with necklace, garland, shawl and the sacred thread, the slender face displays a long beard, knotted at the tip, and at the back of his head flames radiate to form a halo. 10th/12th century.
