An ormolu Louis XV style cartel clock

Ormolu clock with white enamel dial and black Latin numerals, pierced gilt hands, domed glazing. 8-day movement with verge escapement. Engraved to the top "St. GERMAIN". Chips around the winding holes, the bell lost, the alarm defective. H ca. 51 cm.
The bronze Parisian, Jean-Joseph de Saint-Germain, mid-18th C., the movement South German.
