A Meissen porcelain hot chocolate pot with courtship scenes

Gilt metal mountings and replaced ebonised wood handle. Cylindrical vessel with original flat lid. Decorated to both sides with elegant couples in landscapes within gilt quatrefoil reserves and scattered flowers to the shoulder. Unglazed base with blue crossed swords mark, impressed 3. Handle and rim restored. H 17 cm.
