A North German one-handled mortar

Cast bronze with golden brown patina. Of narrow tapering form with a thin flared base and moulded rim. One angular faceted handle. Three fine vertical ribs in the lower section. H 20.5, D 15.9 cm. Weight c. 3.5 kg.
