A three-case inrô. 19th century

Rendered in fine hiramakie, seven partly opened physalis fuits against a black lacquer-ground. The bright red fruits visible through their delicately thin husks. Dense nashiji-ground to the inside. Signed in maki-e Koma Kyûhaku Yasuaki saku and Koma Kyûhaku Yasuaki kiwameru kore (has certified this) and red seal Yasuaki. Dense nashiji and fundame to the inside. Agate ojime.
Height 5.4 cm; width 5 cm

The most probably later added inscription at the bottom states that Koma Kyuhaku Yasuaki (d. 1732) confirms that the inrô was made by Koma Kyuhaku Yasuaki (d. 1715).
