A Bohemian glass goblet and cover with the imperial eagle

Broad base with tendril decor supporting a hollow baluster form shaft and an almost cylindrical cup decorated with the crowned double-headed eagle and inscribed "VIVAT IOSEPHVS" (presumably referring to Emperor Joseph I). With an associated faceted lid with a cut armorial cartouche, inscribed below the finial "FUNDATIO WESSELIENSIS STAT". H 24.1 cm.
Attributed to Heilbrunn / Hojná Voda, Buquoy glassworks, circa 1701 - 11.
