The body with a shiny black lacquer background with cranes and mandarin ducks on one side and herons and wild geese on the other side, in the air various birds including chidori, swallows, sparrows, all in iroe-togidashi. Signed Kanshosai with kao in red lacquer. Nashiji and fundame to the inside.
