An embroidered yellow satin kang seat cushion cover. Around 1900

With rounded corners, embroidered in Peking stitch contoured by a laid down silk thread, at the centre with a large lotus flower surrounded by eight smaller blossoms on a ground covered with lotus flowers, leafy scrolls and Buddhist emblems, the borders displaying flowers alternating with amore emblems. Lined with yellowish silk with woven shou medaillons.
