The beige-coloured satin panel embroidered with a peacock, roosters, cranes and swallows underneath a pine tree with peonies and plum blossom branches. Glazed. In a frame and stand on lion feet, decorated in mother-of-pearl inlay with flowering scrolls with birds. The silk with water stains, the stand with losses to the lower part.

Former property of Konrad Vogel, who as a retired navy officer around 1890 spent a couple of years in Shanghai and Tsingtao as an agent for the Krupp company, and thence by descent
