A rare Gothic double-handled mortar

Golden brown cast bronze with dark brown patina. With flaring base and protruding moulded rim. The tops of the faceted handles each with seven engraved horizontal lines. With some minor dents. H 18, D 17.8 cm, weight c. 6.5 kg.
