A silver writing set made for the council of Lübeck

Comprising an ink well and pounce box on an oval tray with pad feet engraved with the Lübeck municipal coat-of-arms and dated 1757. L of tray 24.5; W 16.7 cm, weight without lead inset of the ink well 608 g.
Marks of Asmus I Schramm, circa 1757.

Schramm appears to have carried out numerous commissions for the city council of Lübeck. The platter with an ink well and pounce box."
