Two Meissen porcelain butter dishes with rare underglaze blue Chinoiserie decor

Squat, barrel-shaped butter dishes, the original lids with artichoke finials. Decorated with Chinoiserie scenes flanked by rocks, architecture and willow branches. Unglazed bases with pressnummer 5, blue crossed swords mark with K to the insides. One lid with craquelure to the glaze on either side. H 6 and 7, D of both 11 cm.
The porcelain Meissen, around 1760 - 1774, the decor attributed to Peter Kolmberger and Johann-Carl Möbius, among others.
