Two Meissen porcelain butter dishes with rare underglaze blue Chinoiserie decor

Squat, barrel-shaped butter dishes, the original lids with artichoke finials. Decorated with Chinoiserie scenes flanked by rocks, architecture and willow branches. Unglazed bases with pressnummers 23 and 83, blue crossed swords mark with and without dot and with 6 and Mö to the insides of the dishes. With a chip to one handle, one lid with a restored horizontal breakage. H 6.5 and 7, D 11.5 and 11.5 cm.
The porcelain Meissen, around 1760 - 1774, the decor attributed to Peter Kolmberger and Johann-Carl Möbius, among others.
