A Meissen porcelain cup and saucer with Imari style decor

Painted with gold contoured branches, prunus sprigs and a moth in the Imari style. Blue crossed swords mark with k, dreher's mark of two dots for Johann Martin Kittel jun. A star-shaped crack to the side of the cup. H cup 8.6, W saucer 17.8 cm.
Around 1735.

Private collection, Westphalia, acquired in 1997 from Röbbig, Munich.
