With rounded corners, the lid displaying a tiger climbing a rock with sasa and a torrent rushing by, in gold takamakie, sabiji and with a lead coating and a little kirikane on a black lacquer ground. The reverse of the lid with bamboo on nashiji, some leaves inlaid with aogai, others with a thin lead coating. Inside a fitted tray. Nashiji to the inside. Tiny traces of use.
