A three-case rinpa-style inrô. 19th century

Of natural pine wood with stylised plum blossom branches in gold takamakie and a full moon inlaid in lead, partially oxidized; some flowers of iridescent mother-of-pearl. Inscribed Kôrin hitsu. Small loss to the lead inlay. The Chinese fruit kernel ojime carved with a figure in a cart.
