Long open cord sautoir with tassels at the terminals and cartouche-form sliding clasp with snakeskin decor picked out in black enamel and set in the centre with an oval garnet cabochon ("carbuncle", c. 17.6 x 12.7 mm). The ring hallmarked: Dutch import stamp for necklaces and fineness 585 (after 1953). Total L 110 cm. Slider 3.2 x 2.2 cm. Total weight 46.62 g.
