A large blue and white brushpot. Shunzhi/Kangxi period, 17th century

Of cylindrical shape with a flat unglazed base. On the outer wall continuously decorated with a qilin and a phoenix in a fenced garden, rocks and flowering peonies. Around the rim and the foot engraved bands in anhua technique.
