A Karnataka/Maharashtra copper alloy altar of Khandoba und Mhalsa. Central India. 18th/19th century

Khandoba with his wife on his thigh sits on a horse above a rectangular base, in his four hands he holds sword, trident, drum (chipped) and bowl, the pupil of the left eye is set in gold, the prabhatorana behind the figure with makara, naga and kirttimukha.
