A Victorian pinchbeck meshwork tubogaz snake necklace.

Made from pinchbeck (an alloy of copper and zinc). Slender tubular necklace made from finely woven wire, the two clasps formed as serpents' heads set with red stones. Can also be worn as two bracelets. Not hallmarked. The woven metal with age-related wear. Necklace L ca. 45 cm/bracelets L 20.5 cm. ca. 29.4 g.
