1952

Bronze. Height 68.5 cm. Monogrammed 'ES' (joined) and dated '1952' on the plinth. - With an anthracite-coloured patina, minimally lightened in few places. Isolated minimal abrasion.

Edwin Scharff initially created the figure of Pandora in the early 1950s as a larger-than-life sculpture in an unclothed version and a version dressed with a hip scarf, each 240 cm high.
