A sancai-glazed figure of lokapala. Ming dynasty, 16th century

Striding male architectural ceramic figure made of reddish stoneware with yellow and green glazes. With an angry look, holding a club in his right hand and resting his left hand on his hip. A column serves as a support, he stands on a flat plinth.
Height 43 cm
