A Berlin KPM porcelain dish from the general's service for Prince Ludwig of Hessen-Homburg

Unidentified round model. The well decorated with a still life of the Iron Cross and a copper coin commemorating the soldiers who fought in 1813/14 surrounded by a wreath of oak and laurel. Blue sceptre mark, iron red dash below, red dot, pressnummer 25, two incised dots. Minor retouches or stains to the gilding. H 5.5, D 24.5 cm.
1815 - 21.

The inventory of Prince Ludwig's possessions lists the “Contents of the tableware on 1st August 1826 in Luxembourg”. The inventory includes 20 round bowls and 12 compote dishes. This bowl would have been counted among one of the two positions.
