A Sino-Tibetan fire-gilt bronze of White Tara. 18th century

Sitting on a double lotus throne in dhyanasana, her left hand in the guiding vitarkamudra and her right in wish-fulfilling varadamudra. A high crown on her head and rich jewellery on her body inlaid with turquoise. To her sides ends of her shawl floating in a snake-like shape. Baseplate missing.
