A red satin embroidered panel. Late 19th century

Embroidered in satin stitch with the star deities Fu, Lu and Shou on a terrace greeting Xiwangmu who comes flying on a phoenix, the Eight immortals, Dong Fangshuo and the Hehe Erxian in a landscape with a pine tree. Mounted as a Japanese hanging scroll, the lower part shortened and nailed to the roller.
